I’m not sure that I’m geek enough to be a great blogger.  I don’t have any brilliant tips or as yet unheard words of wisdom.  That being said, I decided that it would be a great idea to check out some other blogs in the ever expanding world of “internet”.   So, of course, I decide to read musician blogs.  Now here is where I am confused – every blog is an excited, peppy, happy recitation of brilliant gigs and amazing people.  Now, I’m not saying that I never get excited or that I don’t meet amazing people.  I do, almost every day.   It’s one of the reasons I do what I do and love every minute of it, even the bits I constantly whine about.   But if you’re going to blog, let me in on the good stuff.  Come on people.  Musicians are creative, full of life, and generally really cool, BUT, they are also moody, prone to self loathing in one moment and self glorification the next.  Let’s read a little about that!  Let’s hear about the bad as well as the good.

So here is what I have learned about myself in a mere 2 days of blogging.  I am a judgmental, impatient woman who is apparently not as thrilled about every detail of my life as I should be.  Stay posted, I’ll work on it.

  1. Kerensa- I think you are hard on yourself and that the application of your descriptors of musicians - creative, full of life, and generally really cool- better fit you, as your fans see you...The moody stuff contributes to your creativity and while can be a heavy burden at times, ultimately I know you'd never trade it away...You are an AWESOME artist...

    1. Thank you Ginny. Yes, I am hard on myself, but it's just part of my make-up I suppose. I am a woman after all. ;)
