“Faith is such a hard
thing when things aren't going our way. But no matter what you have faith in:
god, people, yourself, hope...We all need the voice in our head saying, somehow
things will work out. Without that we stop fighting and without fighting for something
there is nothing.”
I read this tonight on a friend’s
wall and it spoke to me. I hope she
doesn’t mind that I stole it, but I wanted to share it with you.
Everyone has faith in
something, but I say choose wisely.
Faith in other people is flawed, people will always let you down
eventually, even those that truly do love you with every fiber of their being. Having faith in yourself, well, that IS
important, but to rely totally on only you is also a mistake. We NEED others and we deserve to know the
love and support of friends and family.
That voice in your head, yeah, that’s always a good plan. Do you remember when it told to that just one
more drink would be ok, or that guy (or girl) you KNEW you shouldn’t trust as
far as you should throw them, was just misunderstood? Sure you do.
Now, just my humble opinion, but God is the real deal. God will never let you down, never leave you
stranded, and never forget about you.
God is.
Faith is the substance of
things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen. – Hebrews 11:1
So keep the faith, keep
hoping and keep your eyes open for that evidence of those things you haven’t
yet seen.
Faith and Hope - they go
together (like rama lama ding dong & Dip da dip da dip doo wop da doo bee
